Tracy Allen PopHorror.com I was also pleasantly surprised that the characters were not all annoying slasher fodder that I couldn't wait to see bite it. Rated: 4/10 Aug 9, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

jeff l This could have been a great movie, But sadly it fell a little short. It did keep me interested until the end, but it didn't WOW me. It's worth a watch, with friends, during the Halloween season. I'm very close to giving it 3 and a 1/2 stars, but not quite. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Wow! The only ones being punished in the House of Purgatory are we the audience. "Teenagers" (I say teenagers in quotes because they have more crows feet about their eyes than most 35 year olds) hear about an infamous haunted house attraction. After finding the attraction they are led through various low budget scares until we come to each protagonists own personal purgatory. I'm not sure if this was initially a religious movie that went off the rails or what but only one of them really deserved punishment. The others are being judged somewhat harshly. **SPOILER ALERT*** One is judged for a hit & run accident. One is judged for enjoying sex. One is judged for being secretly gay. The one that is way off base... one is judged for being raped and molested by a family member as a child!!!! WTF?!?! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Acting - not bad.Good concept.worth the watch.Has a Catholic bent to it.But what would you expect with the Title's name. B movie Love Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Cast were likeable enough, and it was fairly well made but the horror elements were incredibly mild. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member It was cool idea that had a good build up but it wasn't scary enough. It was kind of just a collection of creepy or fucked up ideas. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Good film...wouldn't say it was jump out your seat scary more of a play with your mind kind of film....a good watch though would recommend it Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
