Maximo (Derbez) desde de criança sonha alto, em viver uma vida regrada de benefícios, principalmente após a morte de seu pai. E assim ele arma uma estratégia, casando com uma coroa cheio da grana, e assim o faz. E se distancia de sua família. Após 25 anos de vida de rei a velhota o troca por outro dondoco. E assim com uma mão na frente e outro atrás. Assim o único lugar que resta é a sua irmã. E lavando a roupa suja ele passa a morar lá. E ele arma um outro plano para voltar a ter a mesma vida. Mas para isso precisa do sobrinho. E assim esta aramada toda salada. Com boas interpretações dos atores, elevam a qualidade desta comédia. Roteiro e enredo um trabalho inteligente e eficaz.
