Miriam W @RT03132743 Mar 29 Is this movie "good" in the Oscar sense? No? But is it actually a fantastic movie? Also no. However, I will say this. You will have FUN. And at the end of the day, when I'm exhausted, and the world is falling to ruin, and I hate my job, and I have so many kids, I sit down in the evening and love to watch Hudson Hawk, because it sparks joy in it's absolute ridiculousness and Bruce Willis is charming and had a lovely singing voice. Sure, it has action, drama, romance, foreign intrigue, sci-fi, mafia mayhem, all the makings of a HOPE & CROSBY ROAD PICTURE, and a fairy tale ending all thrown into a blender; but the cappuccino is perfect. I saw this at the movies, loved it , owned the VHS & the DVD as well. I love Bruce Willis in comedies: Blind Date, North, Cop Out, and Hudson Hawk. James Coburn was brilliant, Sandra Bernhard over the top classic, Andie McDowell gorgeous, Danny Aiello hilarious. If you can't turn the outside world off, grab some popcorn and a beer, then maybe the problem is you and not this funny, zany showcase of talent. I watched it last night in apocalyptic 2026 and loved it even more. In the vein of Last Action Hero this is more than just a heist movie or action flick, it's a bonkers post modern but of good old fashion silliness. Bruce Willis owned the 90s with coolness and he's never been slicker (without being arrogant). If you sit with cross arms reading the reviews tour going to have a rough time with this, if you switch off and remember the fun of the 90s cinema you will have a blast...
