Steve G Could have been OK if dad drove to her car from the right direction. But, at that point, I knew it was going to be lame Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/22/24 Full Review Tim M It is exactly what you think it is, but well done. I enjoyed it. If you like movies like Drive Angry or Shoot em Up, you will enjoy this. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/21/24 Full Review pamela l This is a great action movie. Don't listen to the pseudo critics who think they have some high brow perspectives. I find these critics are clueless. This movie has solid plot, good acting and great "get the Bad guys" story lines. I'm almost ready to give up on reviews here. They are too ridiculous, artsy and negative for good action movies. I say: get over yourselves! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review paul s Entertaining. Somewhat absurd, but it kept my attention. I just don't think many of the human emotions on display were necessarily believable, but I found this watchable for the one time only. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review terry s This is a movie that resembles many other similar movie plots, but in many ways… this one is a welcome improvement. It is a pleasant breath of fresh air after so many stale offerings of this genre! "Emma" in this film comes across as a REAL woman that people can relate to. This is a movie for grownups! Too many films today feature female leads that are closer to fantasy super heroes than real women. Therefore, all of those other films fall flat on their face.
In this engaging drama, Emma doesn't overcome the laws of physics by pulling off feats of strength sufficient to prove that she is the equal of larger, tougher men. Leave that to the "politically correct" fantasy films for 14 year old boys and girls. In this film, she comes across as a real person that people of all ages can relate to and believe in… and best of all, she has a story! The acting in this film is great all around, terrific cinematography, a cast of believable villains, and to top it all off… the movie has a great moral! That moral is that we can learn so much from those that came before us, if we don't fill our heads and ears with so much fanciful idealism that we can't listen anymore to what we really need to hear… to stay safe in the real world. Heed the lessons from Dads, Moms, and grandparents. What you may learn may come in handy someday! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie. And a true look at human nature. How some are prepared and how some are not. To pretend that the world is not always dangerous, is foolish.
