Audience Member A film which takes us behind the scenes of an experimental theatre group. The feature debut of Nanni Moretti, deals with the artist's eternal struggles of moral principles and the hardships of everyday life. It brims with creativity and, while the style is still quite raw, I Am Self Sufficient is a prime example of a solid intellectual comedy film. Il mio giudizio è fondamentalmente lo stesso per entrambi i film: mi aspettavo di peggio. Neanche questo è malaccio, anche questo necessiterebbe di più visioni per capire meglio battute e singole scene e anche da qui si possono ricavare spunti interessanti. Insomma, tra "Io sono un autarchico" e "Ecce Bombo" la differenza è davvero poca, vuoi perché il gruppo di attori è lo stesso, vuoi perché le situazioni stesse sono molto simili tra loro.
