I Am Lisa is a fun, retro-vibing revenge-horror hybrid, the werewolf elements sitting in nice harmony with the more orthodox revenge elements. Go to Full Review

I Am Lisa is a dreadful fable that flips the hero/villain, in a female-led cast that devours the story. Go to Full Review

I am Lisa tears into its premise with ample flair, energy, and resourcefulness. It mostly delivers on the thrills and kills, providing a jolt of energy guaranteed to satisfy genre fans. Go to Full Review

This might sound a little mad, it feels like a Western in some places; kinda like Hang 'Em High (1968) only with, you know, werewolves. Go to Full Review
Joey Keogh Wicked Horror 04/30/2021
I Am Lisa at the very least manages to make yet another case for why women, and indeed queer folk, should be front and center in horror - the stories are more compelling, more complex, and demonstrably more entertaining too. Go to Full Review

Jun 9 Man, this werewolf flick was a damn good time! It dragged me right back to the ‘80s, when horror didn’t mess around with CGI nonsense—practical effects all the way, and this one nailed it. The werewolf transformations were gnarly as hell: bones cracking, fur ripping through skin, all that gooey, in-your-face makeup that made me grin like a kid watching The Howling for the first time. No slick digital shortcuts, just pure craftsmanship that felt like it was ripped from my VHS collection. The story had that retro grit—part cheesy, part brutal—with a lead who’s all heart and balls, fighting tooth and claw. It’s the kind of movie I’d pop in after a long shift, crack a beer, and lose myself in the blood and guts. This one’s a keeper, a real tribute to the old-school horror I grew up on. Hell yeah, I’d watch it again! See more Jeff B Dec 27 Very cheesy, B-movie style not-at-all scary horror flick. The effects are dreadful. The whole thing is very amateurish. I really don't get all the positive reviews. It's terrible. See more Nicholas A 09/08/2024 This movie was so bad I made an account on here to write a review. This movie looks like it was made by middle schoolers, which is arguably an insult to middle schoolers. Terrible actors and terrible story. Couldn't stand it while it was on, didn't even finish it. Story could be good but the realisator is POOR , and same thing for the cast! 1 on 10. See more Read all reviews
