It reminds me quite a bit of the late actor himself. It is not the flashiest, nor most stylized of films, much in the same way he was a very understated actor. However, both the documentary and Walker emote such genuine and touching sincerity...

I recently watched the dramatic documentary, I Am Paul Walker, for the first time. I can't think of another documentary like this one that touched me so much. I was aware of the terrible tragic accident that took Paul Walker, but I wasn't aware of so much about him. What a remarkable young man who was taken way too young. Such a terrible, terrible manner of death. That just haunts me thinking about it and hoping that he was totally unaware of what was happening. I've seen a one star review claiming the documentary was all lies ... I don't know about that, sounds like some sour grapes. I recommend this documentary. IMHO he was a fine young man who had more good to do before his tragic end arrived.

It's well done and moving but it lacks depth, comments from bigger number of people form movie industry and most of all it lacks Paul's love of BJJ (he had a brown belt in the moment of his death) and martial arts generally.

I enjoyed this documentary and it certainly brought a tear to my eye. I would have liked to have heard from Meadow and her mum and their experiences with Paul. Also, I am sure there were a few broken hearted women he left in his wake but I still thought it showed who he was. A thing to remember is life can be taken from you at any time so make the most of it.
