Taraneh (Taraneh Alidoosti) is 15-year-old girl. Her mother has died and her father is in jail. Alone in the world, she works and attends school to craft a brighter future for herself. When Amir (Milad Sadr-Ameli), a successful businessman, asks for her hand in marriage, things start to look up. However, after four short months, the couple divorces and Taraneh is left single, pregnant and reviled in her community. Now she must struggle to raise her baby alone in a society that condemns her.
