Synopsis
Mysterious letters from a Tibetan religious group have anxious inheritor Jefferson Monk (George Macready) fearing for his life. When the strange messages accurately portend the paralysis of his wife, Ellen (Nina Foch), and warn of his own impending decapitation, Monk seeks the help of private investigator Jack Packard (Jim Bannon) and his partner. The gumshoes soon uncover an elaborate and sordid murder plot that runs closer to home than the exotic ruse would suggest.
