Audience Member I was entertained by the cast on this movie, really good jokes and interesting ending of it. I was expecting to end on a goofy matter. One time movie meh, it passed the time. One time movie meh, it passed the time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review ashley s Cliche storyline.... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This Spanish language rom-com, set in Barcelona doesn't quite succeed, but it also doesn't offend in any way, making it perfect for a rainy day. It's a romcom in the sense that it's not a drama – the film goes for "wry observations" in place of actual laughs. The film is told from Marcos' point of view and it does take the time to try to say something about what it means to be a man in the 21st century. These include the pressures on men to look good, dress well, and the challenges of navigating the new norms of online dating. But it also asks some interesting questions on why straight men can't comment on the physical beauty of other men. There is a lovely (and impressive!) scene near the end celebrating the beauty and physical prowess of men, and this idea feels really fresh in a heterosexual romcom. Unfortunately the film suffers from having too many other ideas, that haven't quite been brought together in a unified whole. The "breaking of the fourth wall" direct to the audience conversations, the online guru, the commitment-phobe best friend, none of these quite get fully realized. Raquel (played by Natalia Tena) is thoroughly engaging as the friend / love interest, and the chemistry between her and Marcos is entirely believable. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member bastante entretenida 8/10 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Una película graciosa, perfecta si te quieres reír un rato, aunque la trama no sea la gran cosa.
