Unrealistic from start to finish. So extremely ignorant at the beginning all but asking for trouble. Not prepared for anything more then a flat tire. Then surprisingly turns into a survivalist and professional killer, with super human strength. Most nonsensical movie I've ever seen.

I don’t know if the original is better, but this one is definitely lame. One, we start with long shots of the heroine driving, not promoting any narrative. Then she gets directions to the cabin from a cartoonish old man. Then, stops to get gas and very wisely takes off her cardigan and remains in a revealing blouse to be enjoyed by the guys loitering at the gas station. All that before the 4 minute mark. Sorry, but I will watch something else. Upon researching I learned that the original earned no stars from Roger Ebert who considered it the worst movie ever made! Why it was redone is a mystery. Incidentally, I spit on your graves is a smart violent book by the French author Boris Vian. Unfortunately, that also generated a bad film that reportedly caused the author’s fatal heart attack. Reportedly the movie trashed by Ebert originally had a different title but it was renamed after the book that led to the current terrible remake.

The 2010 remake heightens its grim as the premise is undoubtedly extreme but it manages to deliver a satisfyingly even more gruesome revenge as well in conclusion. Grading: C

Tenía un leve recuerdo de haber visto esta película en alguna época de mi vida pero no recordaba lo turbia que es. Debería ver la original del 78 que si no ví y debería. Es dura en todo sentido, desde el principio que sufris los abusos con la protagonista y luego también, cuando "disfrutas" de verla vengarse como corresponde. Digo disfrutar por el logro de ella de poder enmendar todo lo que le hicieron pero no disfrute ni una sola escena jaja no soy impresionante pero está película me hizo mirar al costado varias veces. Tarantino estaría orgulloso jajaja
