This is why most mystery movies Bomb! See more 05/15/2017 A fine film with a Masterpiece Theater aura about it and done with the same artistic hand as Foyle's War, Endeavor...) despite the timeline and social time (mores). This is not only a good film but an especially good insight into the early career of Daniel Craig, now a mega-star (see his work in another surprising good early work "Flashbacks of a Fool". No one would ever guess that he once had a brogue thicker than porridge. Great mystery writer, Ms. Walters, will read/see her other work. See more 12/29/2012 Great movie. Superb acting, particularly Daniel Craig and Kitty Aldridge. Well worth watching. See more 12/20/2012 Excellent adaptation of Minette Walters' first novel. A good mystery but even better as a psychological study and social critique. Daniel Craig gives an excellent performance as a troubled cop. See more Read all reviews
