Big rig ice road driver Mike McCann (Liam Neeson) travels to Nepal to scatter his late brother's ashes on Mt. Everest. For being an ostensible sequel, “Ice Road: Vengeance” features zero ice roads. In fact, writer-director Jonathan Hensleigh’s follow-up barely stands apart from any of the other baker’s dozen punch-em-ups Neeson has led in the last decade.

This movie is shocking bad, but for a person who enjoys a bad over exaggerated drama/action it's watchable. I'd blame the writer for the poor movie but at the same time it was watchable. The cgi is unrealistic, much like the physics but all in all it's a good stupid watch

Of course it's popcorn meets sentimentality, why do reviewers think it otherwise? A great endless action flick that doesn't need much thought nor effort. Easy to watch, good pacing and plenty of action. Liam Neeson is his usual high quality self, with introductions to younger actors pulling their weight. You don't even need to have seen the first one. Give it a try, much better than these reviews give it credit for.

A disastrous mess of a film. It pretends to be set in Nepal but delivers nothing more than a hollow, studio-made illusion. The token four-day shoot in Nepal feels like a marketing gimmick, while the bulk of the movie was faked in the obscure town of Walhalla, Australia. With no real story, no atmosphere, and no soul, it’s cinematic trash dressed up as an adventure
