Anton Bitel Sight & Sound Think Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) reimagined as a coolly elegant, noir-shaded thriller - although with perhaps a little less coherence. Apr 27, 2016 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) The story runs out of puff long before the end credits but director Simon Pummel works visual wonders with a small budget. Rated: 3/5 Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Loretta Goff Film Ireland Magazine While the concept behind this film is both timely and intriguing, it unfortunately falls a bit flat in the film. Audience Member The organization Brand New-U identifies networks of IDENTICALS - people who walk like you, talk like you, but are walking through different, better lives - and helps their customers make a life upgrade: eliminating the better-life donor, and relocating their client to that brand new life. Slater seems to have the perfect life, the perfect job and the perfect girlfriend. But when Slater's girlfriend is abducted by Brand New-U, and a corpse left in her place, he is forced to become an Identical. As he moves through a series of parallel lives, he becomes more and more obsessed with finding his girlfriend, but what he must find in the end is himself. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member pretentious boring and confusing. Pass!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I couldn't wait for this movie to be over. I don't care how intellectually stimulating it was...I still have no clue what the movie was about. Perfect reaction after watching the movie...wtf!?!?!?! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The trailer looked great, but the movie was a disappointment. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow and confusing to the never-seems-to-get-there end. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Sluggishly stylized and over indulgent. This one is a real patience test! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
