Jodi Arias is a household name, synonymous with one of the most heavily covered murder cases of all time. When she was put on trial for the murder of Travis Alexander, Arias was villainized on television screens across the nation. From photos at the scene to Arias' inconsistent story, all signs pointed to her guilt, until now. The documentary If I Can't Have You: The Jodi Arias Story (directed by Christopher Holt) doesn't reveal anything new, but it does a very good job of presenting both sides of this tragic story. Go to Full Review

Julia R @Mermaidbae 1d Whoever created this mess is quite unhinged. The most sickening thing was the footage they kept using of Travis whenever he was joking around being goofy, adding stupid background music that felt like pure mockery & victim blaming. We're supposed to feel sympathy for Jodi as a bad actress with a whiny voice reads aloud from her diary. It's supposed to be so sad that she moved to a different town during her childhood (my family moved 9 times, still never felt the need to slaughter anyone.) It definitely felt like a desperate attempt to put an unremorseful narcissist in a positive light. They left out so much crucial information - premeditation stealing her grandparents gun, borrowing gas cans so she wouldn't be traced, not staying away even after Travis asked her to, etc. I had to laugh at one part when Jennifer Willmott says "If Jodi is treated well by her boyfriend, then she'll be fine!" Yikes. Just as long as you don't make her angry, fellas, she won't shoot you in the face 😬 See more 02/23/2021 Wow this was absolutely horrible! There are YouTubers that covered this case better! They left so much out! They didn't talk about all the proof that this was premeditated. The rented car, the gas tanks, her grandparents reported a .25 caliber handgun stolen from their house about a week before the killing - the same caliber used to shoot Alexander. Please do your own research on this case. This was a very one sided case. Also it sounds like her defense team fed her that whole abuse story. This girl is a psychopath. Definitely go watch the trial, it's all on YouTube. She applied for an appeal in 2020 and thank God the Arizona Supreme Court denied it! How do these women defending her sleep at night? See more 02/20/2021 This isn't a documentary, this is a propaganda film. It is extremely one sided and basically just presents the defense's case. It glosses over the fact that she was extremely jealous, hid the fact she was driving to Arizona (borrowed gas cans, filled them up with cash in a different state so she wouldn't be placed in Arizona), and made it out to be a self defense case. It was premeditated murder because he had left her and was leaving for Cancun with his new girl. Was this produced by her defense attorneys? Piss poor job of being bias and involving the facts.
