If you never heard of the Southern rock group LYNYRD SKYNYRD, by the end of the movie you would. And you would care. It is a story of coming from nowhere to the heights of fame, to making some really bad decisions. Fame didn't come over night for them, they paid their dues. Practiced hard and, for awhile, enjoyed the fruits of their labor. Developed not only work habits but song writing abilities. Did they succumb to the pressures of stardom? They sure did. Oh, by the way...When you have trouble with an airplane, take care of the issues. The plane will not get better with use. That the fatal bad decision.

I was a junior in high school the day the music died, but was fortunate to see them that summer. One More from the Road was the soundtrack for every house party from 1976 through 1977. What a great fucking band. This brought back some great memories.
