Verne Gay Newsday Excellent portrait of a legendary band that gets to the heart of why it's endured -- that tragedy notwithstanding. Smith Decider In just over an hour and half, Lynyrd Skynyrd: If I Leave Here Tomorrow packs in enough history, interviews and live footage to rival Shelby Foote's three-volume history of the Civil War. Nov 26, 2018 Full Review John Petkovic Cleveland Plain Dealer Like many of the Slynyrd's lyrics, such simple words convey powerful passion to rock 'n' rebel. Dave one of the best rock documentaries out there! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/13/23 Full Review Audience Member If you never heard of the Southern rock group LYNYRD SKYNYRD, by the end of the movie you would. And you would care. It is a story of coming from nowhere to the heights of fame, to making some really bad decisions. Fame didn't come over night for them, they paid their dues. Practiced hard and, for awhile, enjoyed the fruits of their labor. Developed not only work habits but song writing abilities. Did they succumb to the pressures of stardom? They sure did. Oh, by the way...When you have trouble with an airplane, take care of the issues. The plane will not get better with use. That the fatal bad decision. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member If you’re a fan you’ll enjoy it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/09/22 Full Review Audience Member I was a junior in high school the day the music died, but was fortunate to see them that summer. One More from the Road was the soundtrack for every house party from 1976 through 1977. What a great fucking band. This brought back some great memories. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I like to think of Jesus like, with giant eagles' wings and singin' lead vocals for Lynyrd Skynyrd with like an Angel Band, and I'm in the front row, and I'm hammered drunk… Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Jorge S I really enjoyed this!
