      S. C Unique, creative and heartwarming. The performances are absolutely fantastic in this simpler yet funny written romantic comedy with great cinematography, beautiful sets and a lovely score. Despite being set in a depressing context the movie manages to be colorful, vibrant and upbeat. It may leave you wanting more of the directors comedic and love oriented vision in his future feature films. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/03/23 Full Review Liam D Park Chan-wook‘s (Three... Extremes, Joint Security Area) most whimsical movie that takes it's Romcom fantasy sometimes seriously Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/30/22 Full Review arjun p This is a wild swing of a movie premise that is definitely unique and charming but isn't as overly engaging. The first half didn't provide the feeling of investment in the characters. Instead, there is a lot of laying the groundwork for the setting, environment, and perspective of this film, but this could have been achieved in a much shorter time. The second half, when things start to slow down, is where the narrative begins to click. The story and its characters become more open and heartwarming and this is where the overall package improves but it's over before you know it. While it may not be a home run, the playful lightweight melodramatic romantic drama is not something you've likely ever seen before and the film has some fun scenes to keep you till the end. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review eden s Very different from Chan-wook Parks other movies like the Revenge trioligy. Nonetheless a very captivating, unconventional approach to a romantic comedy with a twist. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this movie! It's an oddball mix of Benny & Joon meets Pulp Fiction. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review nefasto r A colorful love story, a quirky semi-fairy tale and much more than that to be honest. Because under the strangeness and the craziness we find familiar feeling, complicate problems and gorgeous solutions for those problems. A different view: and that I always appreciate. Rated: 3/5 Apr 6, 2008 Full Review Derek Elley Variety Witty, playful, romantic, tragic, Park Chan-wook's I'm a Cyborg, but That's OK is a whole chocolate box of emotions in a highly decorative but absolutely characteristic wrapping. Mar 26, 2008 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Given the unconventional, uncharacteristic result when compared to Park’s other films, I’m a Cyborg, But That’s OK proves his style is all his own, Rated: 3.5/4 Sep 5, 2023 Full Review Mattie Lucas From the Front Row American film could use more of this kind of free wheeling, experimental energy, because every frame of it seems gloriously vibrant and alive.
