Chris Willman Variety It's as if "Once" generated a sequel, and it turned out to be a folk-movie-musical version of "Scenes from a Marriage." Apr 25, 2021 Full Review Katrina Olson katrinaolson.ca This very intimate look into the couples life and creative process uncovers what it means to belong and grow together. It's a beautiful glimpse of the how their life bleeds into their art. S D I'm fan of music from both Our Lady Peace and Chantal, but they don't make for interesting documentary subjects. It's a real pretentious slog - turns out they're the artsy types that think every one of their thoughts is a golden nugget of wisdom. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/11/23 Full Review martin f I'm from the very small island where they spend half of the movie, since we don't have much representation, it was interesting for me to see what they will do. First of all, they perfectly capture the nature of the island with beautiful shots and scenes that take place in the snowy hills. But the scenes in the city were not that great... If they walk a little in the streets with nothing to say, they spend most of their time in a hotel room being tired of each other. The very few scenes with inhabitants of the island were the highlights of the movie, I don't say that because I'm from there but because it gives the little extra personality that the film desperately needs. It's a confusing message that despite them saying that they went back to the island to find their love again, they just look miserable there but once they come back to LA they are all happy and in love... Some songs are beautiful especially the titular songs! They have real talent. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review razvan p not that stimulating, neither sound nor dialog, but i like the dude, and there are some good conflicts and a lot of vulnerability Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
