Based on her experiences as the first Asian-American to star in her own sitcom, "All-American Girl," "I'm the One that I Want" chronicles Margaret Cho's meteoric rise and near fatal demise during and after the groundbreaking series and her subsequent recovery. Now 31, Margaret has emerged clean, sober; more confident and funnier than ever. Her experiences in Hollywood, her relationship with her mother and her struggles with her own personal demons became the raw material for this show.

Audience Member Very funny but got serious at times when she was talking about struggles she went through with drugs, alcohol, and the cancelation of her tv series. Watch it! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member As always, truly belly laugh inducing hilarity. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I love Margaret Cho!!! I don't think I've ever seen her do anything I didn't find hilarious!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Oh Lord. Margaret Cho beats that one trick pony over and over and over again. How many times can one put out the "shocking" material and pretend that it is comedy. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member Margaret Cho clearly has a knack and talent for stand up comedy. She demonstrates that here and does it quite well. Not all the jokes work, but for the most part it is laugh out loud funny. Great fun, very entertaining. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Margaret Cho at her best.
