Becca James Chicago Reader Revitalizing the genre by expanding on a recognizable format to include a new perspective... Dec 30, 2020 Full Review Kimber Myers Crooked Marquee Julia Hart's I'm Your Woman is a refreshing take on the throwback '70s crime picture, as seen through new perspectives. Rated: B+ Dec 17, 2020 Full Review Claire Shaffer Rolling Stone I'm Your Woman becomes more rewarding the more you sit with it; even its nihilistic first half and occasional half-baked dialogue will likely be easier on the second watch, once you know where it all leads. Rated: 3/5 Dec 17, 2020 Full Review Aaron Charles InSession Film Brosnahan’s performance is one of the stronger lead performances I’ve seen this year, and I’m Your Woman succeeds because of it. The script is one of the year’s strongest, too. Rated: B+ May 1, 2024 Full Review Jillian Chilingerian Offscreen With Jillian Hart presents a modern day mob story that has a hook and opens the door for more of these films to be made. Aug 30, 2023 Full Review Charles Hartford But Why Tho? A Geek Community I’m Your Woman delivers a tension-filled story that, while slow in a few spots, uses that slowness to deliver something worth seeing. Iamwhoi M Didn't feel like the 70s all that much; but all the actors did a great job, especially Rachel Brosnahan. If the sound of a baby crying annoys you, this may not be your favorite movie. That kid cried A LOT. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/18/24 Full Review Nate K Over all I think this movie was a great mystery thriller but I get that the writers wanted to keep us in the dark just like the main character but the ending was not for me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/20/24 Full Review D G Unrealistic characters acting in ways that are preposterous. If that is how you want to spend 2 full hours go for it. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Ken S Don't understand the low audience score, thought it was a great film. The plot was hard to follow, but gripping most of the way through. Strong female parts and great performances. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Steve D Brosnahan should be a big star but this film does her no favors. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/11/23 Full Review gene r The presentation pulls you into the world of uncertainty and unknown danger into which the protagonist, Jean, is plunged. Her naivety, which increases her risk, is offset by her instinct for survival. Rachel Brosnahan brings a believable quasi-innocence to her character as the plot swirls and drags you along.
