Mark Halverson Sacramento News & Review Rated: 4/5 Aug 7, 2008 Full Review Rich Cline Shadows on the Wall fascinating and exciting Rated: 4/5 Jun 6, 2006 Full Review Ross Anthony Hollywood Report Card I've enjoyed three safaris myself. Of course, a theater will never give you the actual experience of the Serengeti and film can never replace vision, but the images here are abundant with high quality animal life and rich with animal emotion. Rated: 3.5/4 Oct 27, 2002 Full Review Forrest Hartman Reno Gazette-Journal While Africa is completely absorbing, it's best viewed as a primer to the subject matter. With its 40-minute run time, viewers are able to grasp only a surface understanding of the material. Rated: 3/4 Oct 4, 2002 Full Review Herb Lash Big Movie Zone The film is ... an impossibly lucky safari delivered with a soft touch of science and philosophy. Oct 2, 2002 Full Review Read all reviews

s r Brief and to the point telling the story of the migrations of the Serengeti Wildebeasts and the predators and obstacles they overcome. It is beautiful, powerful and raw at the same time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great Documentary. stunning visuals and memorable narration by James Earl Jones. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Great visuals and soundtrack. Despite all IMAX movies being quite short this one felt just long enough given the content. I didn't realize it's 16 years old now and it still looks as good as new on the IMAX screen. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Great wildlife shots!! Amazing...and I love James Earl Jones' voice. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Some breathtaking pans over Africa, but I could have done without the generous use of the fish-eye lenses. The history lesson is also quite a bit off. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member think this is why james got to do his voice for lion king ;-) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews
