Brianna Zigler Film Inquiry Impetus is, above most things, an extremely interesting film, but perhaps mostly for those who know that they lean more favorably towards the experimental with the slightest waftings of pretentiousness. Feb 9, 2019 Full Review Hunter Lanier Film Threat Impetus functions like a deconstruction of this sub-subgenre, which seems somewhat cruel, considering that it's yet to be properly constructed. Feb 5, 2019 Full Review Deirdre Crimmins HighDef Digest Impetus is nearly impossible to categorize - not because it defies genre, rather it tries to occupy too many of them at once. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Raquel Stecher Quelle Movies Impetus is an inventive exploration of the metaphysical. However it struggles to keep the viewer's attention. Audience Member If Chantal Akerman had made her Otto y mezzo, it could have resulted in Impetus by Jennifer Alleyn. A great cinema moment, a voyage. Must be seen by any movie buff. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
