Rachel K Was disappointed with this one. I watched it because I saw the same name as the guy who wrote Love Life with Anna Kendrick, and I actually enjoyed that. This one -- ending was bad. Wasn't as enjoyable as I wanted it to be. Pass on it! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 12/20/22 Full Review Cristian s Probablemente una de las películas mas tristes que vi últimamente porque es algo que a todos nos paso en algún momento de la vida. Igual por mas que en general este bien resulta medio aburrida. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/01/22 Full Review Audience Member The movie is slow and poorly executed. There's little to root for. At the end, there's no takeaway from the film — nothing gained. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Otvio F Boring, tedious and bland, simple as that, 1 hour and 30 minutes that felt like 4 hours. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/22 Full Review benjamin j The four leads are enjoyable to watch, especially Emma Roberts, in a story that has no real point or larger thematical reasons for its existence; but it's a fun story that captures one relationship that ends and one that begins over a long summer in LA. There is an abundance of sex scenes in this movie that are neither romantic or necessary to show. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Shows how complex a relationship can be. How much work it takes from both sides. I really liked it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Noel Murray Los Angeles Times There's just not enough that's new here - either in what's being said, or how. Nov 8, 2018 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times "In a Relationship" has a smudged tenderness and almost nostalgic sweetness, as if we're watching these characters painfully learn everything that we already know. Nov 8, 2018 Full Review John DeFore Hollywood Reporter Two couples try to decide if they should stay together in Sam Boyd's feature debut, In A Relationship, which is unlikely to inspire many viewers to root strongly for one outcome or the other. Nov 8, 2018 Full Review Michael Colbert Film Inquiry Most often, the aspirations of the characters are made to be fun, quirky, and endearing instead of something to criticize and laugh at. The result is a voyeuristic peek inside of their vapid lives. Feb 9, 2019 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue Like its title, this exploration of the romantic travails of a quartet of angst-ridden millennials has all the depth and personality of a Facebook status update. Nov 9, 2018 Full Review Shannon Miller Nerds of Prey Boyd exchanges unrelenting sweetness and conveniently pretty endings for a quiet reminder of the messy uncertainty of evolving relationships.
