Audience Member the movie is very close to the real life of many gay couples Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member In the spirit of celebrating that USA has just legalised same-sex marriage equality, a double bill of two recent indies from American queen cinema cannot be more felicitous, and hopefully we will get more LGBT characters in mainstream productions in the near future from Hollywoodland. keep reading my review on my blog: http://wp.me/p1eXom-1Wv  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Kitchen sink drama, Georgian style. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member "¿Puedes sentir mi corazón desde mi espalda?"... Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Kurt, a Chicago pot-dealer, finds himself stifled by his boyfriend and makes a sudden decision to break up with him after receiving attention from one of his clients. Finding himself devastated by his decision he attempts to make amends. At the heart of this film is a beautifully told story of the break-up of a relationship, but it is under-shadowed by an unnecessary sub-story of a serial killer stalking the streets of Boystown. I take it the faceless threat is supposed to be some sort of metaphor for something, but it just detracts away from what could have been a companion piece to Andrew Haigh's Weekend. The lead actors give a very honest performance of heartache and it's a shame the film's silly sub-plot doesn't do them more justice. Oh the Rotten Tomatoes page for this has it confused with a later film by the same name. I recommend this film for the performances and the relationship plot. Not sure what the writer was doing with this serial killer thing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Only if it had stayed focus on picturing the relationship thing.
