      Norman W Terribly done WW2 submarine film. Poor acting, ridiculous script, and an unbelievable plot. If the author had watched even a mediocre WW2 submarine film he would have done a better job. Don't waste your time on this turkey. Poor production design, like onboard compartments the size of a motel room. Check out the instrument gauge at 1:20 with a label made with a Dymo label maker - invented in 1958. To fill time they threw in every WWII Hollywood tear-jerking cliché known to mankind. A sad waste of Mr. Macy's excellent talents. I guess we all need a payday once in awhile.
