Audience Member I enjoyed this film. Big wave footage is great, Indonesian footage is interesting, Monkey Dancer is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. Real surfers. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This was one of my favourite movies when I was 14/15 I remember taping it onto VCR. Good times. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member one of the coolest surf movies I ever seen. definitely recommend it to anyone who likes to surf. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The film makers certainly know how to film some superb surfing shots, but the storyline side of things leaves a lot to be desired. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member You can't judge this movie the same way you judge others. The story is a little weird, acting isn't great, but they cast real surfers because they didn't want the cheesy shots like Kate Bosworth in Blue Crush and they wanted to show more of a spiritual side of the sport. The performance by the surfers as actors can be put aside because it comes from the right place and the surfing footage is excellent. It is no Step Into Liquid but it is a great addition to the DVD library. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member An enchanting hypnotic trance that intoxicates the soul into believe that we can escape gravity and soar into the limitless landscape of our dreams.
