Daniel G It seemed like it would be a "Globo" kind of movie from Turkey, but it rose a little above a traditional TV "novela" to a slightly higher level. We watched it late and my wife didn't fall asleep. Melodrama that wasn't over-acted, though kids in such movies are bits of nuisances. A more and more typical Netflix product. The relationship between Melisa and her son - Can is so touching that it further intensified the heartbreak I experienced in the last part of the movie. Aside from the touching story, the phenomenal acting of the main actors and especially Asli Enver (Melisa) performance made continuously to be captivated by the screen at any given moment, she is really a great actress and made me feel every emotion Melisa went through in such a beautiful way. Also I love how the story was made like a puzzle and how everything in the end was connected together and had a purpose. A truly great movie and I wish it could have been made a sequel but with its ending I'm not sure it's possible , great movie! Rated 5/5 Stars •  Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is really FANTASTIC and fascinating, although I couldn't manage to overcome the tears yet - it was a great and very satisfying beautiful movie that takes a horrible and very used topic in movies and made it into a heartfelt romantic, funny, and very successful hard-hitting emotions movie, which will leave lasting emotions on the viewer. And besides the unstoppable tears and heartache that lasted for hours after watching, It provided me with something that everyone in one or another shape or form needs - Love and strength. The movie showed the cruelty of life and fate and yet managed to shed some light and insight into the beauty of love between a mother and her son and also the strong love between Melisa and Firat that finally came true. One of the most wonderful things in this movie is definitely the way Asli Enver shines in Melisa's role and causes me to burst with emotions, her performance is worth every possible compliment - she is really fantastic. Uma mãe solteira descobre que esta com uma doença terminal. Então ela busca um pai para o seu filho e de preferência que tenha estabilidade na vida. Chega um dia que ela conhece este homem, e começa a investir, com o objetivo de encontrar um pai para seu filho. Mas antes que você faça uma interpretação da moça, em procurar este porto seguro, assista o filme até o final, pois isso irá te surpreender e até mesmo der repente julgado alguém, sem ouvir de fato os fatos. Curta este filme que vale apena assistir. Apesar do tema ter alguém com uma doença terminal, o filme é leve e gostoso de assistir até chegar o final. O garoto merece um #oscar pela interpretação do seu papel, muito mais que muitos que ganharam sem representar nada. The overall theme is familiar yet remains a unique story and characters, and the writer has added special quirky details worth noticing. The scenes between the boy, Can, and the male lead, Ferit, are endearing. The on-screen chemistry between Melisa and Ferit, the main actors, is lovely. The movie charms the audience with innocence, funny moments, love, joy, and redemption amidst the sadness of letting go. Asli Enver and Kaan Uncangiolu, the young boy and the best friend - all four shine. Fresh, natural, and a fabulous choice and break from all the violence on the screen these days.
