Synopsis
This made-for-TV movie chronicles the formative early years of singer John Lennon (Phillip McQuillan). In 1950s Liverpool, Lennon clashes with his aunt (Blair Brown) while trying to make a place for himself in rock 'n' roll. In time, he assembles a band with George Harrison (Mark Rice-Oxley), Paul McCartney (Daniel McGowan), Stuart Sutcliffe (Lee Williams) and Pete Best (Scot Williams) ; they call it the Beatles. As their fame builds, it's clear that nothing will be the same for Lennon again.
