Nothing is as it seems when filmmaker Emily Wyland (Brittany O'Grady) teams up with cinematographer Danny (E.J. Bonilla) to shoot an intimate documentary about reuniting with Emily's estranged mother after a decade apart. What Kos achieves in his final scene is unlike anything the found footage genre has done, and it’s a bold swing that will hopefully pave the way for something even grander, should the movie have more up its sleeve.

This well crafted thriller from Pedro Kos has you on the back-foot from the beginning and all the build-up is worth it with how the story unfolds. Brittany O’Grady is terrific with a well-measured performance proving the best is yet to come.

A great example of low-budget independent horror thriller about the opioid epidemic and the dangers of taking advantage of bc of it. Even tho, the ending becomes very predictable within a a couple of minutes of its reveal. Especially the very end. Saw that coming a mile away.

100% and the dumbest movie I saw all year. It takes important themes - homelessness, drug addiction - and... proceeds to say absolutely nothing about them. Bad acting, dreadfully awful writing and dumb dialogue, dumb, one-dimensional characters. No chemistry, amateur direction. The big twist? Guess what? It's (redacted) - the tropiest trope of all.

A slow building found footage horror that pays off with its second half and third act. I hope this one gets a sequel cause there is definitely a lot of story left to tell in the setting that this film takes place in . "In Our Blood" is a found footage film that I recommend you see which for me is a rarity to say as the Found footage genre is a gray area with a lot more misses than hits when it comes to movies.

Synopsis
