Nothing is as it seems when filmmaker Emily Wyland (Brittany O'Grady) teams up with cinematographer Danny (E.J. In Our Blood starts off as a grounded look at addiction and the disenfranchised and then slowly turns into something entirely different. Suspenseful, eerie, and even a bit “don’t-go-down-there!” horror, the tension builds beautifully, and the whole theater was gasping by the end. Brilliantly written, acted, and directed!
