nick s The script felt a little bit like it was made up on the go. In an effort to create red herrings characters were made to do somewhat illogical things (like lying for no good reason). That would have been palettable, but for the film's denouement which was was pretty daft. Acting was generally okay - Anthony Perkins was great - but some rather phoney efforts by support actors (eg the lawyer). It was soo slow & drawn out with so many unneeded parts. The only reason i watched it to begin with was Anthony Perkins. I adore him..& this was his last role before he died. :( Although he wasn't in the film much at all..or maybe just not enough for me. Overall..i DO NOT recommend this film at all..UNLESS you are a huge fan of Anthony Perkins as i am..then it's a nice piece to your collection.
