Well-written and classically constructed, In the Land of Saints and Sinners is one of the better action thrillers Liam Neeson's made in recent years.

susan g The Itish accents were very hard to understand Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Sharon Learning about the war they had over between the north and south. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Suzanne I liked that it starred Liam Neeson. One of my favorite actors but this movie was a disappointment as it had too many F bombs, not by him but the other actors. If I didn't have my parents with me, it wouldn't have bothered me as much. Also, the Irish brogue was very thick and dialogue was very often lost on us. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/12/24 Full Review Jeff Typical Liam N. Action Thriller with possibilties of sequels. Filmed over Beautiful Irish Countryside. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review kay c slow to start, but Liam Neeson being Liam Neeson is always a thrill. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/13/24 Full Review Deborah Interesting info of that time period in Ireland however we were left with questions as to what individuals were targeted by the IRA and what they had done. Robbie Collin Daily Telegraph (UK) As such, there’s a find-and-replace quality to aspects of the writing... But such stock roles are geed up by performances that are stronger than they had to be. Rated: 3/5 Apr 26, 2024 Full Review Danny Leigh Financial Times Neeson is as sturdy as ever in a role Clint Eastwood might have played 20 years ago and a few thousand miles away. And Condon excels, giving a stock character a shudder of intensity and three dimensions. Rated: 3/5 Apr 25, 2024 Full Review Peter Bradshaw Guardian There’s bits and pieces of entertaining stuff here, a few sharp lines and a gonzo final shootout, but the overall tone of cliche is a bit wearing... Rated: 2/5 Apr 25, 2024 Full Review Mark Jackson Epoch Times Like Brad Pitt’s line in 'The Devil’s Own': 'It's not an American story—it's an Irish one,' 'Saints and Sinners' features an all-Irish cast doing IRA things. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 27, 2024 Full Review Paul Whitington Irish Independent It’s a good laugh overall, and one of big Liam’s better action vehicles. Rated: 3/5 Apr 26, 2024 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film With plenty of meat for its fine cast to chew on, the film is often intense but never loses its nuance.
