The confusion of the film is to replicate the confusion that the main characters are feeling, you are in the shoes of the Mother and her Daughter feeling exactly what they are feeling, seeing the curse torture them is haunting and purely scary. This movie makes you look away, makes you afraid of the curse and how it could affect you. The twist makes it so much better, gives you a feeling of being cursed and not being able to get the movie out of your mind. This movie is truly scary, and truly beautiful. It is truly pathetic that this is marketed as a horror film when the two scares and counting were at the last 10 minutes of the film. The plot made no sense and there was no structure to the movie.
