David (Woody Harrelson) and Diana Murphy (Demi Moore) are a loving couple with a bright future. David is a talented architect; Diana is a top-notch real estate agent. But when the recession hits, their finances take a nosedive. In a last-ditch effort to save their dream home, they head to Las Vegas to win their mortgage money gambling. Life sucks. Well, for some it does, for some it doesn't. But in the grand scheme of things, the general consensus is that it does. That's just the dystopic reality of the capitalistic interpretation of survival of the fittest. If you're not taking sides in this sheer 90s world, and you probably shouldn't, Indecent Proposal is actually but a decent prosal to a mere sad drama, where Demi Moore and Woody Harrelson peak.

I like this movie. Not sure why it gets bad reviews but Demi is great, Woody us too and Redford nails his role too. At times it is a little dramatic but you're never not entertained. I like it.

One of the absolute worst movies I have ever seen. I saw it with a guy I was dating at the time. It was bad enough in the theater but, having no sense of what I liked and didn't, boyfriend decided to punish me further by giving me the DVD for my birthday!
