3 srars; A tight, fast paced, political, action thriller. A man seeks revenge on whoever killed his wife, while being pursued by the Police and the bad guys. Seen this plot before? You bet! However; before you judge this book by its cover, i have to say that the story was compelling. Because of some twists and turns And fast paste action. The biggest complaint I have is that with all of the fast space action to follow default, it was hard to switch back-and-forth between English and the subtitled South African language. Also, cuddle for an excellent musical score by Kyle Shephard.

Felt like a Bollywood production. It just dragged on and on, with overdone melodramatics and a sappy score. Newb writer, producer and director Travis Taute still did a fairly decent job overall, but the overly long scenes needed editing down so the bloated 124 min runtime be at the most 90 mins. The action was ok, and the story although cliched, routine and predictable, still had some merits. Casting and performances were decent for the most part, with the lead Jarrid Geduld being the least convincing, perhaps due to Taute's inexperience in directing his cast effectively. It's a watchable South-African entry into the action film genre, as long as you have patience.

Nice executed conspiracy drama just a bit long-winding. Lots of plot makes no sense, why hunt a man who doesn't have any evidence & barely believes his wife's story? And killed so many to raise suspicion?
