As the Fourth of July nears, satellite engineer David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) investigates a 3,000-mile-wide mother ship that's approaching Earth. who wrote this script? Cause you suck at it. Terrible sequel to what was an instant classic. I'm not even going to pair this with the original. ugh I want my hours back and my memory erased. This movie should only be shown at 3:00am on reruns.

Had such high hopes for this movie. Watched it when it first came out and said meh. I just rewatched the two in sequence, still meh. If there had been a two part movie, maybe. There was not any character building. The plot was ok, could have been better.

I heard that this movie was bad, but bad is a step up from unwatchable garbage. it might possibly be worse than Gigli. The graphics suck, the script is horrible and the acting is wooden against an unimaginative childish script. After struggling through 90 minutes I wanted to rip my eyes out and step on them as punishment for staying open. I was hoping a margarita and some flower would help make it better but it only made me sad and hungry. Do yourself a favor and opt for something less painful such as a root canal without an anesthetic.

OK if your under ten years of age, perhaps or a Turkish barber who wants to admire the haircuts that look like toupee after toupee. Terrible script leaving actors looking wooden and foolish or histrionic or just highlighting their poor performances. Put it on for the children they might just last the distance with the promise of a takeaway. Sit in the bath and rest happy that your not watching this drivel. An animation would have made more sense or independence day the day of the terminators, transformers predators would have worked. Should I copyright those ideas. Or write the script
