Jonah K Sci-fi fans will enjoy this typical alien vs. Earth movie with minimal character development, example, we know he's a fireman because he's driving a firetruck, we know she's a computer whiz because she's carrying technological devices, he's the president's son protected by the Secret Service, etc., etc. The SFX is better than most B-movies, particularly during the space scenes. The acting's good and production are simple but good. It's all action from beginning to end and has a fairly good, predictable ending. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review Stephen C The greatest 1.5 hours ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/25/22 Full Review erica s OK, this is clearly a rip off version of the 1996 movie Independence Day and it clearly copy and paste, but without any of the humor and action we got from Will Smith and smart wit from Jeff Goldblum and how Will and Jeff acting skills balance perfectly. In this clearly OMG terrible version it is like watching my parents cook at the same time in the kitchen and making a big mess followed by a finally, they're divorcing each other which what the ending is to me. It's like hackers Vs aliens. You hardly see any action or reason why Earth is being invaded. The beginning is a clear copy look at the poster on this. Come on! Come up with your own ideas not copy and paste and remove the good parts. It is all just hacking for 90 minutes of a movies. If I wanted to see just typing and hacking for ages on the my screen. I would have happily watched 1995. Hackers. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member An obvious Independence Day rip off but with worse plot, acting and CGI. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This film seems to have a total disregard for the 90's blockbuster 'Independence Day'. Not only is the name practically the same (except silly - I thought this would be a spoof on that basis alone), the premise of the film is exactly the same. This rip-off is low budget and has no acting presence in the cast list. To be fair to it though it does have good pace, fair cgi, and a passable musical score for an action-thriller. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Thankfully watching at 5x fast forward made the pathetic special effects and bad acting tolerable.
