I really couldn't figure out what this movie was trying to be. I can't deny it is well made, but the main character has kind of an anger issue (despite that, I agreed with him on the things he was angry about) and wasn't especially likable. Olivia was an interesting character, but wow, that ending and what an old b* the mother was. Honestly I knew nothing going into this and I still don't know what message we were meant to take from it. Depressed. That's what it got me...

It was so boring. I was literally falling asleep in my seat. Ok, so, maybe the movie wasn't made for me but still... The acting was ehhh. Tracy Letts was great but Logan Lerman wasn't any good.

Beautifully made and acted drama that has some of the most cinematic sequences of two people talking I've seen outside of The West Wing.
