Nick Allen RogerEbert.com Indivisible ponders, to a limited extent, what would happen to such siblings in a world that values celebrity, religion and sex to selfish ends. Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 20, 2017 Full Review Jeannette Catsoulis New York Times Shot with a dreamy fabulism that merges the gorgeous and the grotesque, "Indivisible," the third feature from Edoardo De Angelis, draws on a rich vein of Italian cinematic history to deliver an adventurous ode to freedom and sisterhood. Sep 14, 2017 Full Review Derek Smith Slant Magazine Edoardo de Angelis's coming-of-age portrait is poignant when fixated on the intricacies of a complicated sisterhood. Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 11, 2017 Full Review Erica Peplin Vague Visages Indivisible is a fantastically imaginative coming-of-age tale, an opera of sweeping creativity and a universal human love story. It’s unlike anything you’ll see this year. Dec 5, 2023 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Invisibili is an emotionally powerful fill about the bonds between sisters and what can test them. It's a film about family, dreams, wanting independence and happiness. It's well-written and beautifully acted by a cast filled with talented actors. Rated: 4.5/5 Apr 14, 2020 Full Review Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Exploring themes of identity, independence, and personal growth as something only possible by growing apart rather than staying together, de Angelis creates a peculiar universe. Audience Member View on a family in the decaying Neapolitan suburbs. The parents arrange themselves exploiting the singing talent of the Siamese twin daughters. The two sisters Fontana are wonderful: natural actresses, without any academic actorial training. Unique soundtrack that breathes internationality. Far from the stereotypes about poor Italy, which the international public always want that to be neorealist, the film also distances itself from the last dark style "alla Gomorra / Suburra / Mafia Capitale" which is so fashionable lately. The actress Antonia Truppo is great. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
