Sarah H Any American would appreciate the cooperation, selflessness and patriotism demonstrated by The Greatest Generation that fueled an unsurpassed period of rising middle class and opportunity for future generations. Governmental public service messages like this are too easily put down with a negative term like “propaganda.” This movie is one of the many reasons America was able to make the world safe from the carnage and authoritarianism of the Axis powers (which most definitely did not believe in freedom of any kind). United we stand, divided we fall. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/22/24 Full Review Audience Member This is a magnificent effort of state propaganda! Granted in wartime price fixing and everything that goes along with it might be reasonable for some goods. This went well beyond that point. Modern liberal/progressive would love this movie but it's shocking to a fiscal conservative or anyone who values freedom. If advocates today, this would draw heavy criticism. The acting was well done, but such advocacy for compliance is disturbing Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
