Audience Member Utter tripe. This is the story of useless people gambling their families and livelihoods on pointless novelty inventions designed purely to bilk the public. The characters begin as irresponsible gambling addicts, and they end as irresponsible gambling addicts who happened to bet on a winning hand. They achieved nothing meaningful. It had a really great storyline, believable characters, great dialogue and many touching moments. Certainly a film I'd watch again to relive the mood, watch the characters deal with adversity and listen for the memorable lines! Basically a underdog story where two friends make it big and maintain their friendship. Nice to see Jeremy Renner in a movie where he is funny and not an action hero.
