Jonathan Garcia Dynamic Duel Podcast The short form nature of an animated film like this can't possibly capture the broad scope of the story across various other mediums. It's really heartbreaking that this wasn't an animated series. Rated: 3/5 Jan 7, 2023 Full Review Allison Rose FlickDirect Hartley, who is no stranger to portraying a DC Comics superhero, comfortably slips into voicing Superman as he goes "dark" and vengeful in Injustice. Rated: 3.5/5 Oct 28, 2021 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media The acting is solid, and the animation isn't of the highest quality, but it works for the story. Rated: 3/5 Oct 27, 2021 Full Review Jeffrey Lyles Lyles' Movie Files Easily has enough material to play out for multiple movies. The biggest mistake here was trying to pack everything into one film and hope for the best. Rated: 6/10 Oct 19, 2021 Full Review Julian Roman MovieWeb Injustice has a great premise. It needed to advance the source material and not just emulate its violence. An opportunity was lost here to really challenge Batman and Superman's unyielding virtue. Rated: 2.5/5 Oct 19, 2021 Full Review Jesse Schedeen IGN Movies Injustice fails to make good on its considerable promise. This animated movie attempts to cram far too much of the source material into one film, forcing it to sacrifice a huge amount of character development and key plot points along the way. Both S Ruh roh raggy red killed in commx Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/01/24 Full Review Audience Member This film, which is adapted from the best selling comic and video game franchise of the same name, follows the aftermath of Jokers devious plan. In which he tricks Superman into unknowingly killing his pregnant wife and blowing up Metropolis. Due to this tragic incident, the Man of Steel transforms Earth into a police state, where he enforces his vision of world peace and is willing to resort to any means necessary to achieve it, but when his actions cross a line Batman and his regime must stop him and his allys before his tyranny destroys the world that they have sworn to protect. Overall, due to iconic moments from its source material, a phenomenal voice cast, and epic clashes, this movie was a mostly enjoyable experience, and even though it is very rushed, it manages to remain cohesive and still tell a fairly coherent story. It is important to add that this feature is nowhere near as good as the game or graphic novel , but it does provide a gateway into the lore for newcomers and serves as a kind of highlight reel for veterans of the series. A glaring issue with this however is that it removes many of the important characters and story beats that made the universe so popular and engaging to fans in the first place, and feels unfinished. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 07/11/24 Full Review Revan Q It was incredible the perfect movie.it has gore the story is the best story I have seen in DC movies in a long time this is better than endgame for me personally Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/10/24 Full Review Me D I was really looking forward to this, but the pacing is awful, there's a three year gap that they address poorly, and if you read the comics and played the game, like me, you will be heavily disappointed. And all the deaths in this we bad too. Characters just showed up and then died.
