      martin a This is a lovely film about a long-serving employee of a brewery that after 25 years wants to be given the lease of a pub, problem is that the pub is problematic and the local Lord gives out free beer! Charles Hawtree makes a wonderful early appearance. The film has it all, high camp, comedy, romance, drama and a happy ending, a real gem of a film.
