María José B Jan 25 I had higher expectations. Personally, I did not find it enlightening, it did not move me and it did not surprise me, all elements that I value in a work of art. I think it's more of a movie that just presents you with an uncomfortable reality in a blunt way. What I do value is the risk and the fact that what it says is that sometimes there is no need for a reason as to why we act in harmful ways towards ourselves, that there may not be a need for horrible trauma in your environment to act that way, something I tend to forget. See more 11/16/2019 Caught this @ Chicago International Film Festival. Decent storyline, good pacing; but for me, the overall praise goes to the impeccable lead performances.
