S R A little basic, but I expect so was the budget. I saw it because Jillene recommended and it was a decent movie, but a little predictable. It also was wholesome. Saw on BYUtv. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/28/24 Full Review Audience Member "Sentimental US-centric drivel. It may be a true story, but this is another one of those 'US won the war' type movies where everyone except the US actors are portrayed in a stereotypical manner. Don't waste your time" I wasted my time reading your opinion. About the movie: prime quality film, based on true story. Kudos to director and actors ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Interesting war film showing the life of a prisoner or war. I particularly enjoyed how it showed how all involved suffered from the effects of the war. Certainly not perfect, at times a bit predictable, but ultimately enjoyable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a simple movie based on a true story. It shows life in a prisoner of war camp in the last year of WWII. Not your typical war movie, there is very little violence. Instead it shows the human spirit, will to survive, glimpses of humanity from all sides. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Sentimental US-centric drivel.
