Walter V. Addiego San Francisco Chronicle The film deserves viewing, especially by those unfamiliar with this series of horrific events. Rated: 3/4 Jan 11, 2018 Full Review Peter Debruge Variety Delivers a lucid, elegant (insofar as that is possible) and reasonably level-headed analysis of the issues that have clouded conversation around the Armenian Genocide. Nov 11, 2017 Full Review Matt Fagerholm RogerEbert.com A sporadically successful indictment of how U.S. policy has been synonymous with alternative facts. Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 10, 2017 Full Review Sherilyn Connelly SF Weekly Intent to Destroy may not inspire many people to watch The Promise - which is currently streamable on Amazon - but at least The Promise allowed Intent to Destroy to be made. Jan 12, 2018 Full Review Daniel Eagan Film Journal International Intent to Destroy goes well beyond the genre to build a terse, infuriating case against a monstrous injustice, one with frightening relevance to events today. Nov 15, 2017 Full Review Joe Bendel Epoch Times There is quite a bit of fascinating history and timely exposures of human rights violations. Rated: 3.5/5 Nov 10, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member An important topic and I learned a lot. Just the way it was made wasn't to my liking necessarily. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member horrific and chilling! I just saw it today on Starz Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member I just got home from seeing this movie. Powerful, sad, depressing hopeless...and yet the Armenian people are hopeful people, raising families, excelling in the arts, sciences, business, and continuing to push for recognition that the 1.5 million killed in 1915 were victims not of World War 1, but of a thoughtful, planned, effort to exterminate the entire race...genocide. It is a period in history that is rarely taught, I highly encourage anyone who has the slightest interest in learning something new to see this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary. It's worth seeing it. I saw it today. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent documentary - well worth the watch Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A must see for ANYONE who believes in truth and wants to know about one of the greatest unpunished crimes of the 20th century stilll being denied today.
