This film is basically another in a long line of knock-offs of the awful "Bridges of Madison County": lonely housewife gets into affair with a guy from out of town who's just passing through. The only reason I sat through this is because I was in one of those mentally passive "I don't care what I watch" moods. That happens sometimes. But this movie is so inexcusably bad, it awaked my critical acuity enough to at least write this, in hopes of saving other viewers from watching it. See more 04/07/2021 A sort of funny and definite downer of a movie. International Falls is hyper modest in scope and in conjunction with the small town Minnesota setting, it works. As a Minnesotan myself, the accents are certainly in the Fargo-esque brand of exaggerated, but I enjoyed how Intl Falls pokes fun at my home state in little ways throughout. It's kind of a muted movie overall, but there are notable insights and funny moments. See more 01/31/2021 Terrible representation of this small town.
