Randy Myers San Jose Mercury News Shark movies don’t get more atrocious than this ham-fisted, shot-on-the-cheap exercise with a cardboard plot to match its cardboard characters. Rated: 1/4 Jan 29, 2025 Full Review Richard Roeper Chicago Sun-Times This is a serviceable, suitably gory and intermittently scary film with some solid action sequences. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 24, 2025 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian It’s like the plot was dreamed up by a hack who overheard his six-year-old pitting Lego figurines against one another. Rated: 2/5 Jan 21, 2025 Full Review Marie Asner Phantom Tollbooth Those who are based on land will enjoy the film, while those based on the water may see this as an average film. Rated: 3/5 Feb 14, 2025 Full Review Emilie Black Cinema Crazed Overall, a solid thriller with good action scenes, and just enough shark action to call it a shark film. Feb 10, 2025 Full Review Ben Gibbons Screen Rant Into the Deep lacks depth, with so many inconsistencies and wasted potential. Rated: 3/10 Feb 8, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Zero stars. The worst shark movie I have ever seen. Can’t believe I wasted $6.99. Do not waste your time. Bad acting. Stupid plot. Why do I do this to myself! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/25 Full Review Susan D I haven't anything positive to say about this film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/22/25 Full Review Dusty S You know it's bad when the shark is the best actor in the film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/18/25 Full Review Jason L the movie not bad but the shark only look good at a distant and the constant flash back take you out of the build up too often, seen better Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/03/25 Full Review J M I appreciate the character development and the practical use of special effects. It's an entertaining action flick. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/25 Full Review Paul G Atrocious acting (including Richard), boring story, camera footage all over the place, too clearly CGI sharks along with meeting with a shark super-imposed on a fish tank, marine biologist that can't tie a knot, man lies bleeding without an arm and this guy goes into a long spiel about global warming??? I was going to turn it off but got curious how much it could get worse. Lesson learned here. Automatic weapons only fire in one direction and Coast Guard radios are not used. To the "actors" in this D grade movie that shouldn't have ever made the screen; you'll feel that failure in coming years. I'd suggest the director and the producer go into a new vocation; like opening a kebab shop together. I note with concern that the IMDB thumbs down to the negative reviews were the cast members. Summary: Was this shot in the 70s? Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/25 Full Review Read all reviews
