"Into the Spotlight" is a heartwarming documentary about the behind-the-scenes making of an incredible musical, the creators, cast and crew of which are special-needs adults and teens. Each year, as part of the multi-faceted, twenty-five year old Belong Disability ministry at Highland Park United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas, the Spotlight Academy of the Arts performs a completely original musical production. "Into the Spotlight" helps to gives voice and visibility to individuals who quite often go un-noticed by the society at large. It is well worth your watch! Put your SPOTLIGHT on this wonderful film.

This heartwarming film gives us a beautiful glimpse into the lives of these talented actors, who overcome challenges to give their all to their special performances. Love, laughter, and tears are guaranteed! Kudos to all involved in the theatrical productions of the Spotlight Theater in Dallas, and to those whose years of dedication produced this inspiring documentary, “Into the Spotlight.”
