Audience Member The film has an intriguing concept that is realized using humor, heart and a deep story arc that is vocalized by a charming cast making this DCOM a delight treat. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Despite improbable developmental growth and televised cheesiness, it's a twofold picture in two ways: the title not only describing literal sense but also socially relatable before scientifically reversing the roles; and managed to achieve a better storytelling when it comes to invisibility while at the same time one of the better Disney Channel films. The film wouldn't rank as surprisingly high if it weren't for the nice cast performing well in providing humor, with the main pair – Rowen Blanchard and Paris Berelc – not only at their probable best but also providing heart with a lovely sisterly dynamic. (B+) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Classic Disney Channel movie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Its a Disney's sci-fi-magical tale. This is summer holiday and I saw quite a few preteen films like this with my niece. Since we watched the first two seasons of 'Girl Meets World' together, I think she likes Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter. So that's how we found this Disney's television film, which was adapted from the book of the same name. I expected it to be fun like that television series and yes, my niece loved it, but to me it was an average. Usually Disney means magical tales, but it was an sci-fi-magical. Well, it was the story of a teen girl Cleo, who is a bright student, but unnoticed on the school campus. On the other side, her big sister Molly is a very popular who becomes invisible when Cleo's science project goes wrong. So the tale begins to revolve that particular day, which is very important for Molly that decides her future. Both the sisters join hands to tackle the day and to find the solution to undo the invisibility. This is a children's film, especially for the girls. But if you grew up in the 80s and the 90s, probably you would have seen better films in this theme. It was too short, but that's a good thing than the 90 minute torture. Anyway the film was not bad, only the way you look at it makes to have a different opinion. It was just a fun holiday film aimed for kids, but I had my reason for watching it. That doesn't mean it won't suit adults. I was surprised by the quality of the graphics used in it, especially for a television film, it is a very standard which were obviously very rare sequences. The production quality alone makes it worth to have a look. It was not like our days, in the todays world everything's so easy. 6/10 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute kids acting silly. Sounds like a Disney made-for-tv movie. The set up for "Invible Sister" is so ludicrous that it is nearly impossible for it to work. My favorite part is how when the sister is invisible everyone is still able to look her directly in the eyes. This one is a big fat turkey. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Like all Disney TV movies, this was pretty good... Pretty silly in the parts where the sister is invisible but the other sister just knows when to hug her or where exactly she's standing to hand a cup too.... I still enjoyed it. Not the best Disney TV movie, but still a good watch Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
