Synopsis
Helen Travis is a tough, no-nonsense New Yorker straight out of the pages of a hard-boiled crime novel -- she also happens to be a Benedictine Nun who has dedicated her life to helping drug and alcohol addicts overcome their illnesses. Her story is anything but typical: unlike many nuns, she entered the convent late in life after the her husband and children died from causes related to substance abuse. Frail of health, she worries about what will happen to her charges after she dies.
